The confirmed Early Access date
The official Loftia FAQ gives November 3, 2026 as the Early Access date and states the launch time as 1pm EST. Qloud Games repeated the date in its September 20 announcement on Steam, which also named PC and Mac as the launch platforms. The studio shared the same news in a Reddit post from Team Loftia and in its official release date trailer on YouTube. Because all of these come from the developer, they agree with each other rather than acting as independent confirmation.
These announcements replace the older estimates that circulated during development. Earlier coverage talked about broad windows such as a mid-year or fall release, sometimes without any specific day. Those guesses are now out of date, and you should not rely on them when planning. The November 3 date from the official FAQ is the one to use until the developer says otherwise.
Launch time in your time zone
The official wording is 1pm Eastern Standard Time on November 3. By that date the United States has returned to standard time, so the launch converts to 10am PST on the West Coast and 18:00 UTC. Players in Europe, Asia and elsewhere can convert from 18:00 UTC to find their own local time. If your region observes daylight saving time on a different schedule, double-check the conversion close to the date.
Be careful with older posts that quote Eastern Daylight Time. The October demo announcement was published while daylight saving time still applied in the United States, so its EDT wording does not carry over to the November launch. A post that mixes the two can make the launch look an hour earlier or later than it really is. When sources disagree by one hour, trust the standard-time figure from the official FAQ.
Which platforms launch on November 3
Loftia launches on Windows and macOS through its main Steam page, which is app 2320980 and belongs to Qloud Games. The official FAQ also confirms Steam Deck support and controller play for this version. Mac players should read the macOS tab of the Steam requirements, because the listed minimum is macOS 14 Sonoma with an Apple M2 chip. Intel-based Macs are explicitly excluded from that specification.
Nintendo Switch is not part of the November launch. The current FAQ and the official demo page both list Switch for 2027, but neither gives a precise day or a price. Anyone waiting for a console version should treat 2027 as a plan rather than a confirmed release date. Cross-platform play is described by the developer as an aim that is still being evaluated, not a promise.
Loftia launches with 14 supported languages on Steam, including English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese. The full list also covers Italian, Russian, Turkish, Thai, Indonesian and Latin American Spanish. Every version requires an internet connection, because Loftia is an online shared-world game. Playing solo is supported, but it does not turn the game into an offline experience.
Early Access is not the full 1.0 release
Steam labels the upcoming version as Early Access, and the developer describes the length of that phase only as an estimate. No date for a finished version 1.0 has been announced in any of the sources checked for this page. The game is expected to keep growing and changing while it is in Early Access. Treat November 3 as the day you can start playing, not as the day development ends.
The developer’s Early Access statement on Steam also warns that pricing may rise before or at version 1.0. That makes the Early Access launch a meaningful milestone for anyone who wants to buy at the current price. Content planned for Early Access includes three main regions: Loftia City, Hanging Gardens and Gridfall. Read the store page again on launch day, because plans and prices can change before release.
What you can play before launch
A free Loftia demo runs from October 19 to October 26, 2026 during the Steam Next Fest window. It has its own Steam page, app 5315310, so you can try the opening content without buying anything. The trial covers the opening Loftia City quests, gathering, farming and home decoration. It stops before the Hanging Gardens quest segment, so it is a starting slice rather than the whole Early Access world.
Progress from the demo can carry into Early Access if you link your Loftia website account in-game using your email. The developer says progress that is never linked cannot be recovered later, so do this before you stop playing. Linking also matters for keeping your character name. Names can be released if you do not log into Early Access between November 3, 2026 and February 3, 2027.
Price on release day
The announced US Early Access base price is US$29.99. A limited-time 17% launch discount lowers that to US$24.89, and other regions use regional pricing set on Steam. The end date of the launch discount was not stated in the sources checked for this page. Check your own regional store page rather than converting the dollar price yourself.
Loftia is buy-to-play and does not require a game subscription. Optional cosmetic purchases and a cosmetic Community Pass are sold separately from the base game. The free demo does not make the full game free, so plan for the paid Early Access purchase if you want to keep playing after October 26. Our price guide covers these details in more depth.
How to get ready for November 3
Add Loftia to your Steam wishlist so the store can notify you when Early Access opens. A wishlist is not a purchase, and website pre-registration is not a game license either. Both simply prepare you for launch day, and pre-registration through the official form also sets up your Loftia account. That account is the one you link in-game to keep demo progress and rewards.
Before launch, confirm that your PC or Mac meets the requirements listed on Steam. Remember that Loftia always needs an internet connection, even if you plan to play alone. If you want news straight from the team, join the official Discord through the link on the Loftia website. Then all that is left is to log in at 1pm EST on November 3.
